This last month of the Yin Earth Snake year is very supportive of shedding the last vestiges of old habits, unsupportive situations, and people who have used you for their own gains. 27, The Corners of the Mouth, focus line 3: After the hedonism of the holiday, now is a good time to recalibrate and reconnect with healthy habits. This includes reevaluating the company you keep. If you feel depleted around someone or a group, choose now to let them go. Stamina and determination will only get you so far before your body cries UNCLE and you collapse.
54, The Marrying Maiden, focus line 1: This card signifies that you have given away your power to a person or a group of people who only saw you as a tool to be used up and tossed away. There is pain and anguish when you realize this, but the only way out is through. Ask what you thought you were going to get out of this subordination, and how long you will allow yourself to be in this compromising position. Feel it, and then seek out those who encourage you to grow and mature.

The Yang Earth Rat month (12/7-1/4/26) is a time to change your mindset from one of only seeing obstacles to noticing where the opportunities are. November will be an interesting month, as the Pig is the conflict animal for the annual Snake energy. Plus, Mercury goes Retrograde 11/9-29, making it an extra strong opportunity to revisit past choices and see if a different direction is the right way to go.
 
Yin Fire inspires quick thinking, attention to detail, devotion to close companions, inspiration, thoughtfulness, and kindness. It can also be unstable, untrusting, fickle, gullible, needy, and delusional. Notice when you are flickering like a candle in the wind and when you are a strong steady flame that allows those around you to relax and focus on the task at hand.
 
Pig energy can be hyper-focused, optimistic, and honest. They have a way of retaining their childlike enthusiasm and innocence for their entire lives, unless someone takes advantage of them. Then they become guarded and suspicious of everything. Their generous nature belies their natural talent at making (and keeping!) money.
 
Card of the Month: #16, Enthusiasm
Find your level of self-expression and confidence and use it to inspire others. This "Illumined Presence" allows for creativity to come through in art, dance, poetry, and music. Be careful if you find yourself getting addicted to the praise and adoration of others, though. You'll lose that spark and burn yourself out trying to do even bigger and more grandiose things to keep trying to impress others.

This month it will pay to have increased self-restraint, and to channel your inner scout to "Always Be Prepared". We may find that minor impediments and snafus will require resourcefulness and adaptability. Life may not be giving you what you want, but you will be provided with what you need.
